Gentle Halloween

TenichiRamen

Rainy, chilly, gentle Halloween in Tokyo was over last Saturday. I could see many people in strange costumes in Roppongi station. They looked so happy.
However, one after another sad news came to our nation. There must be some who were obsessed by watching the tragedies.
Talking of myself, finally admitting, "I am not a superman" and I gave up things. Then I enjoyed the Tenkaippin Ramen. One of my colleagues said "I ate the noodles in stew. The heavy soup is not soup but stew." Maybe it is true. It did not matter much to me.

Happy Halloween?

AnchorSteam

If you can say “Happy Halloween!” and enjoy the “Anchor Steam”, you are very lucky. In Niigata Pref., there are many earthquake victims evacuated from their wrecked villages.
If you know something to do for them, “Just do it!” If you do not know that or cannot do anything, pray for them and people who are helping them, please.

AnchorPorter

Do not tell your friends about this Anchor Porter!
Especially its unique, delicious taste, rich and intense flavor, has to be kept as a secret.
If one of your friends asks you to talk about one of the best stout in the world, all you have to answer is that you do not know about it.

KAZUKI vs. TENKAIPPIN

TENKAIPPIN

The new ramen war is about to break out in EBISU.
If you across the KOMAZAWA Street from KAZUKI tonight, you can find that the new “TENKAIPPIN,” a ramen shop, is under construction. I like the rich and heavy soup of “TENKAIPPIN” the best. Which do you like better, KAZUKI or TENKAIPPIN?

Inventory day

20040930shibuya109

September30 is the date of inventory day for many Japanese companies. It is also inevitable for the glittering girls working for Shibuya109. Therefore, they must have worked overtime last night after closing times.

Welcome to Ramen of KAZUKI in TOKYO EBISU, the Mecca of Ramen (Chinese noodle)!
Keanu Reeves had visited there before.
Ramen of KAZUKI has been very famous as a long-standing shop among ramen lovers in TOKYO. However, some of them say, “I don’t love KAZUKI anymore like before. Its taste changed.” Maybe it is true. Therefore, KAZUKI is trying to start several new noodles. One of them is in this picture above, noodles with hot dipping sauce. If you are a Ramen pilgrim, come and try that!

Naruto Whirlpools

Whirlpools

Today, I visisted Naruto in Tokushima where Awa Odori Dance Festival is held.
Below is the description of the local website, "Awa-navigator".

The city of Naruto is synonymous with "whirlpools."
This natural tidal phenomenon never ceases to amaze visitors.
The rapid current which flows through The narrow Naruto Strait makes the whirlpools more than 20 meters in diameter during spring tide.
You can marvel at them from close range with "Kancho-sen" sightseeing boats.
You can also experience the thrilling view 45 meters above the sea from "Uzuno-michi" a promenade attached to the underside of the Naruto Suspension Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world.

"Awa Odori Dance Festival" or "Athens Olympics"?

20040812Awaodori

Now here I am in Shikoku, one of the western islands in Japan ,and Awa Odori Dance Festival is held there.
Let me show you about "Awa Odori Dance Festival".

Below is the quotation of the website "Awa-navigator" ,the local website.

Awa Odori

There are three different theories about the origins of the Awa Dance.
One is that it is a version of the Bon Odori, a dance performed in summer throughout Japan.
Another is that it began from a celebration of the completion of Tokushima Castle when Hachisuka Iemasa provided sake for the townspeople who got drunk and began to dance with abandon.
The Awa Dance features organized teams of dancers, which is suggested to have been influenced by "Furyu"-a performing art from the Heian period that later became Noh. The third theory relies on Miyoshi district records from the year 1663 of a Furyu dance at the Shozui Castle, considering this performance to be the origin of the Awa Dance.
In the 1920s the dance festival became organized to attract tourism and was named "Awa Odori."
Every August 12th to 15th the streets of Tokushima teem with high-spirited folks enjoying a festival atmosphere.

Awa Odori Dance Festival

The Awa Dance is held in the city of Tokushima using the main downtown streets as a stage.
It starts in the evening (6:00 p.m.) and the dancing lasts until 10:30 p.m.
The main performances are held on outdoor dance stages or strips built in the downtown parks and streets.
Eight are on stages, four in plazas, two along roads, and six at streetcorner spaces.
The Awa Dance is held not only in the city of Tokushima but also in Naruto, Ikeda, Kamojima, Sadamitsu, and other locales in the prefecture.
All of Tokushima prefecture catches the summer fever when it comes to Awa Odori.

SILMIDO

SILMID

Ex-President Reagan dies aged 93.
He put in serious efforts to win the Cold War, and we saw the collapse of the Cold War paradigm.
Today we live in the post-Cold War era, but the Cold War relics remain.
The 38th parallel in the Korean Peninsula is one of those.
I was very surprised at knowing that the story of “SILMIDO” was a true story.
The affait happened about 30 years ago,
Even though the Cold War ended, Reagan died, we have something to cope with.

You will see exciting 4 on 4 Soccer Games tomorrow and day after tomorrow. Just enjoy GUINNESS!

Tsingtao beer

Tsingtaobeer

All over the world the end of deflation is coming.
In China, do they raise the interest rate of CNY?
In Hong Kong how about the rate of HK$?
As a result of these changes, what will it happen to FOREX?
Do you mind the stock price of the Tsingtao beer?
Sell all of your financial assets, and buy the bottles of Tsingtao beer as many as you can!
That's the answer.

If you are a man, you can recognize real meaning of honor and dignity.

The Season of Encounters

hoegaarden_lefruit.jpg

Drunk too much to update my website!

The beginning shot was for my one-way love whom I had not met for a long time.
The following shot was for the encounter with a new beauty.
One more shot was for me working whole through the week.

I did not remember anything more about last Friday Night .

Let me introduce "Hoegaarden Le Fruit" to you.
Maybe it was my first shot of the night.

Tell me about your encounter!

Shibuya109

Shibuya109, they are celebrating 25th anniversary and started "25th Birthday Fair."
Past few decades, they did not seem to suffer from the depression like a never setting sun.
It has been one and the only strongest commercial establishment in Tokyo and now keep winning.
For some time in future, they will be magnetizing school girls.
Also the school girls there will be magnetizing lecherous men.

What's new? -Fish McDippers

FishMcDippers

The story of fish come again!

They say that "Fish McDippers." is one the new flagship menu item.
I think that it is a kind of copy cat menu of "Fish & Chips" or something.

I have got the invitation of the shareholders' meeting of McDonalds' the other day.
The meeting does not matter to me.
To soar the stock price is the first.
I hope that the new product contribute to soar the stock price.

The Crimson River2

Fishertradition

We have been to a movie preview of "The Crimson River 2 Angels of The Apocalypse."
The leading actor ,Jean Reno, acting an inspector, Niemans, was tough and cool whole through the story.
Also supporting actor, Menoit Magimel, acting Reda, showed us excelent actions.
Christpher Lee was a very scary man as always.

In the movie we could see the story of "Apostle."
Some of the disciples of Jesus were fisehermen, whose names were Peter ,Andrew. Jacobs, & John.
So we tried the "Fishertradition." came from the French Republic."
